This concert featured the 50-piece Wauwatosa Community Band and narrator Margie Kaczmarek. It was held on Saturday, November 1st, 2008, at Longfellow Middle School at 1:00 p.m. Admission was FREE for anyone in costume. Donna Kummer conducted, and several local actors were on hand to act out some of the stories.
The program lasted about 40-45 minutes and included some audience participation, particularly for the children. It is hoped that this event will become an annual tradition.
