This 40-piece concert band performed its Fall Concert on Tuesday, November 4th, 2003, 7:30 p.m. at the Longfellow Middle School on 76th & North Avenue. The band was conducted by Donna Kummer, and she also served as the evening's announcer in the absence of Gladys Chmiel. The selections for the program included many favorites from "pep bands" of years gone by. Some concert selections were chosen by audience vote. Mike Villwock, the audience member with the closest birthday, was chosen to come up on stage and conduct the band in a special rendition of Happy Birthday!
