Wauwatosa Community Band, under the direction of Donna Kummer,presented a joint concert with the Kenosha Area Catholic YouthOrchestra, under the direction of Ken Johnson, on April 14th and15th, 1997. The announcer for the concerts was local theatrepersonality Gladys Chmiel.
The Monday evening concert was held at St. Joseph's HighSchool in Kenosha. Tuesday evening's concert was at WauwatosaEast High School. The two bands combined forces to play the CoronationMarch from "Star Wars" by John Williams.
