This 50-piece concert band performed its Fall Concert onTuesday, December 3rd, 1996, at 7:30 p.m. The concert was heldat Wauwatosa West High School at 114th and Center.
The band is conducted by Donna Kummer. The evening's announcerwas local theatre personality Gladys Chmiel. Pam Ebeling providedthe choreography for selected portions of the program.
As the title suggests, the music for this program was takenfrom a variety of dances: folk, ethnic, classical, and show tunes.Where else could you hear Bernstein's West Side Story, Duke Ellington'sMood Indigo, and the Clarinet Polka all in one concert?!
