DANCE, BAND!

This 50-piece concert band performed its Fall Concert on Tuesday, December 3rd, 1996, at 7:30 p.m. The concert was held at Wauwatosa West High School at 114th and Center.

The band is conducted by Donna Kummer. The evening's announcer was local theatre personality Gladys Chmiel. Pam Ebeling provided the choreography for selected portions of the program.

As the title suggests, the music for this program was taken from a variety of dances: folk, ethnic, classical, and show tunes. Where else could you hear Bernstein's West Side Story, Duke Ellington's Mood Indigo, and the Clarinet Polka all in one concert?!
