About Us
The Wauwatosa Community Band is an outreach program of the Wauwatosa Recreation Department, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
The Wauwatosa Community Band provides performing opportunities for area musicians who enjoy playing in a large concert band. Two or three concerts are performed each year to an enthusiastic, appreciative audience. The Community Band also performs for Wauwatosa’s Memorial Day observance.
Please join our mailing list and we will send you information and discount coupons for upcoming events! The calendar contains the rehearsal and concert schedule.
All rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm in the Longfellow Middle School band room. Everyone is welcome. No auditions are required and you are not required to live in Wauwatosa. New members, please come a little early to introduce yourself and receive music. Rehearsals generally end around 8:15pm.
